Our history
Forni Rossi Restaurant was born from a passion and love for Neapolitan pizza and dishes prepared with authentic, artisanal Italian ingredients. The restaurant was founded in 2014 by Ewelina and Jarek, and its name comes from the red ovens (forni rossi in Italian) that were used in the first Forni Rossi location in Galeria Malta in Poznań. In 2015, Forni Rossi Restaurant was the first pizzeria in Poland to receive the AVPN (Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana) certification, number 543 worldwide. The AVPN certification confirms that the restaurant prepares authentic Neapolitan pizza according to a traditional Neapolitan recipe.

PANDEMIC TIME in 2020 to 2021
The pandemic has had a significant negative impact on the entire restaurant industry. Unfortunately, it has also had a significant impact on Forni Rossi's operations.
When the pandemic began, the owners of Forni Rossi had two restaurants in Poznań:
- Forni Rossi with the 543 certificate, together with the AVPN Poland Neapolitan pizza making school operating at the restaurant at ul. Niedziałkowskiego 28 and
- Forni Rossi with certificate 777 at 92 Naramowicka Street
The owners of Forni Rossi, like all restaurant owners in Poland, had to make a very difficult decision after the pandemic was declared (which meant closing the restaurant), what next? The founders of the Forni Rossi restaurant decided to devote all their strength and resources to saving and maintaining the Forni Rossi 543 restaurant in Wilda at 28 Niedziałkowskiego Street. Unfortunately, the pandemic led to the closure of the Forni Rossi 777 restaurant at 92 Naramowicka Street.
Some time after the closure of Forni Rossi 777 at 92 Naramowicka Street, a new investor was found who took over the restaurant from the previous owners and, as the new owner, launched the restaurant under the current Forni Rossi 777 brand.
Post-pandemic 2022 – to date
The Forni Rossi 543 Pizza Napoletana Wilda restaurant at 28 Niedziałkowskiego Street is constantly developing, just like the pizzaiolo from Forni Rossi, who are constantly training, gaining new experience with new types of pizza, e.g. sourdough pizza (Levito Madre - Li.Co.Li), gluten-free pizza, pizza pinsa, etc., which will be introduced on an ongoing basis to the Forni Rossi restaurant and other new restaurants that cooperate with the owners of the Forni Rossi 543 restaurant.
See you for pizza
